Biography

mark wehlke, born in Munich, Germany, started his electronic career in 1989.

after his first big bookings on germany´s most popular rave scenes, he changed his name to dj manga and released his first records in 1994.

his tracks gained him more and more recognition worldwide, so it was just a matter of time until he played the big international techno festivals:

over the years techno music changed a lot, so did his name. as marc manga, and meanwhile as a highly respected artist in the electronic music scene, he released several successful tracks on big music labels like kosmo music, netrecord-z, edm, bit music, boy records. club tools and bmg records.

he also did a lot of remix work for dj tomcraft, sm-trax, bossi, milk+sugar and a project with sunbeam.

2004 he quit his pseudonym and released from now on as mark wehlke on f-tone (kosmo music).

the first single “one” (2005) was a big hit in the clubs in italy and germany and was featured by many djs like sven väth, karotte, tom wax, ingo boss, boris dlugosch, tania vulcano and many more.

his next release, “two” (2006), was successful in italy, france and germany and had also a big international dj support.

in the end of 2006, remixes of the single “one” were released, featuring mixes from karotte and ingo boss (cocoon/Frankfurt).

today, he plays also in the best Russian club hospital, khabarovsk (far east).

no matter his international success, he never turned his back on his loved hometown munich and still loves to perform in the city’s most popular clubs like rote sonne and ampere.

mark wehlke found his style is techno music, giving it his personal touch with his great mixing skills.
